I came home from Japan to learn I’m the recipient of the 2015 Alex Combs Award! Managed by Homer’s Bunnell Street Art Center, this award is for an artist to further their education and in memory of Alex Combs. I will use the award to attend the Wood Fire Conference in Illinois this fall and to participate in NCECA 2016 (National Council on the Education of Ceramic Art) conference and pre-conference wood fire workshop in Kansas in March! Thank you Bunnell Street Art Center!
