Installing the show tomorrow!

My solo exhibit of sculptures and drawings, Visceral Elements, opens this Friday, 5-7pm, April 6 at Bunnell Street Arts Center. Today it still feels like a dream, with (heavy!) boxes of work loaded in my truck ready to head to the gallery, but tomorrow we install the show. The culmination of over a year working toward this moment feels satisfying, just for having made the effort, but I can't wait to see the work in the gallery! One advantage of a local venue is that I am able to visit many times over the course of the coming month and engage in discussions that, I hope, will be stimulated by the work.
